WUF is a hybrid performance project combining a traditional brass instrument with more contemporary popular music and voice. The viewer experiences a multi-layered program featuring a live tuba embedded in an unheard sonic sculpture. Additional depth is provided with lyrics ranging from hip-hop to chanson and even processed voice. The result is a colourful sonic journey with the tuba being the travel guide. The combination of tuba, voice and digitally generated music is unique.It has to be unique since nobody else plays like we do.
